Do UAE Residents Need a Visa for Indonesia?

The requirement of an Indonesian visa for UAE residents depends on their nationality. This is a limited-stay visa issued for certain occupational or non-occupational purposes such as study, family union, investment, scientific research, etc. A temporary resident permit may be valid for one year or two years.

The Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Indonesia has devised a system of electronic visas to facilitate smooth and hassle-free travel for international visitors. This system enables foreign nationals to apply for a visa online. They are no longer required to visit the Indonesian embassy or consulate in their respective countries, complete extensive paperwork, and wait for long periods to obtain a visa.
