A completed and signed visa application form. You can download the visa application form online from the German embassy website
Passport with a validity of at least three months from the date of leaving Germany. The passport should contain at least two blank pages and must be issued within the last ten years
A valid UAE residence permit with proof of residency in the UAE
Two photographs (not older than six months) complying with the Schengen visa photo guidelines
Detailed travel itinerary in Germany with proof of flight ticket reservation

How to Get a German Visa for UAE Residents?
Select the right visa type based on your travel purpose and duration of stay in Germany
Gather all the required documents as listed in the previous section to support your visa application
Schedule an appointment with VFS Global, the authorized visa application center for Germany in the UAE. You can apply up to six months before your travel date and must apply at least 15 days before you start your trip
